Gmail’s General settings page features over 30 settings with little apparent organization. On/off radio buttons are used alongside checkboxes. Some settings are explained in the left column, others in the right. I wanted to see if I could redesign this page for clarity and consistency. (Download the Figma file for an interactive prototype.)

Introducing logical sections for better information hierarchy, with the most important settings at the top – reading and replying to email are more important than extras like package tracking or ad preferences.
